The VAUGHANS

Jolene and I love the families whose portraits we are entrusted to create.
The mom in this portrait has been a family friend since she and our oldest daughter, Nicci, met in pre-school. In this portrait my intention was to show a relationship in size between the daughter and her brother, as well as the love between the four of them.

Mitchell, "I really like that old tree over there".
Wess, "pretty cool, what do think of climbing that other tree in a minute"?
Mitchell, "okay".
Not really high brow conversation, but a really personal portrait was the result.

HILLARY @ 16

The first portrait of Hillary was when she was 3 months old with her sister and brother (and we have photographed her every year since). Now look at her, "sweet 16", one of the most perfect times for a portrait. I can't wait to see what we come up with next year!

GOOD THINGS IN THE FUTURE

The beautiful location, the embracing of the arms and hands wrapped around and holding each other, the warmth of the family looking off into the good things in the future, the soft expressions of three beautiful people, all reasons now is the time for a family portrait.
